In-house Repairs

K.B.M recognises the impact that "down-time" of equipment has on productivity. That's why we have developed a network of local trades people. They will - if required to do so - disconnect your machine and arrange the transport to our factory. We will carry out the repairs in our own workshop, after which our local trades man will again re-install your machine.

The reasons why it is more cost effective to do repairs in our factory are simple:

• As soon as the machine arrives it is assessed by a specialist with many years of experience of working on that particular type of machine. He fills out a full assessment and report form.
• We advise you of the cost of the repair so that there are no hidden surprises. You advise us if you want to proceed.
• In house repairs have been proven to be cost-effective and often faster than getting a local inexperienced person in to fix your valuable equipment.

K.B.M. has a large range of free on loan equipment ranging from band-saws to ovens and mixers available for use whilst repairs are carried out.

It makes sense to send your equipment to our company, experienced and capable of assessing and guaranteeing repairs, rather than to pay another company that first needs to learn how your machine operates before it can find the fault and finally source the spare parts.
